We are delighted to announce we have a new Licensed Seller in Reigate… The Skimmington Castle Pub, now hosting Arments Pie & Mash nights every Tuesday evening.
Nestled on Reigate Heath, up a beautiful lane called Bonnys Road that winds across Reigate Golf Course, lies The Skim – as it is affectionately known locally. This historic listed 17th Century building has a warren of interconnected rooms, one of which features a stunning open inglenook fireplace. The surrounding garden area has a plentiful supply of outside tables for fine weather and the pub is a popular destination for cyclists, ramblers and dog walkers. For those not arriving on foot there is a spacious carpark at the rear, and an equally warm welcome.
With a lovely selection of local real ales, including their own label Bonnys Best, and a wide choice of wines and spirits, the dog and family friendly pub is also well known for its home cooked traditional pub fare. The latest addition to the menu of this family-owned pub is Arments Pie and Mash. What goes down nicer on these chillier days than Arments pie and mash – good old fashioned comfort food made to our 111-year-old family recipe – accompanied by a pint, glass of fizz or even a cup of tea!.
