We are pleased to announce we have a new Licensed Seller – Denis Hills Quality Butcher
Denis Hills, is a family business in Rochester, which has been around for an amazing 50 years!
Denis was a local man, having lived in the area since he was a small boy. He built many businesses in his time, including a fish and chip shop. He built up the butcher’s business, and not only had a well-stocked shop, but also extended the business to supplying local care homes, schools and other wholesale businesses serving a wide range of local areas.
Denis had a thing about him that whoever he spoke to, he impacted their lives in some way. He always remembered people’s names, places and even where they lived and grew up. He made each of his customers feel special.
Sadly, Denis passed away at Easter this year and his two sons, Mark and David, with the help of Adam, have continued to keep Denis’ legacy alive. They wanted to add some additions to their quality traditional cuts, and successful lines of handmade sausages, minted lamb chops, stuffed chicken breasts, locally sourced and ‘free from’ natural glazes.
With this in mind, Adam having grown up in South London on pie and mash, and knowing that many of their customers previously lived in London, they decided to ask them if they would like to see pie and mash available in-store, and whose. The results were a resounding YES, and it had to be Arments Pie and Mash! It was their number one choice!
So, after checking out Denis Hill Quality Butchers and seeing that they hold a 4-star FSA award, they became our latest Licensed Seller. Adam says ‘I’m pleased we are selling Arment’s products in store as are our customers! It is going amazingly well, and we are selling out every week’.
Denis Hill Quality Butchers sell Arments Pies and Liquor cold for you to take home and heat up, or to pop into the freezer for those just got to have pie and mash moments!
