Our New Licensed Seller in Ipswich – T’s Traditional Pie & Mash!

We are delighted to announce our new Licensed Seller in Ipswich – T’s Traditional Pie & Mash.  We are sure many of you Londoners living in  Suffolk will be pleased too, as you won’t have to travel to London for the real deal! As with all our Licensed Sellers, T’s Traditional Pie & Mash have been vetted by us and trained by the man himself, Roy Arment,  and with their 5 Star FSA Award, you can be assured of the same high standards and practices as ourselves.

We asked owners, Tony and Beckie, to tell us a little about themselves.  This is what they wrote…

‘I’m Tony – with a lifelong passion for good food and proper hospitality. Alongside with me wife Beckie, who’s the real backbone of it all, we’ve poured our hearts into makin’ this place somethin’ special. Between us, we’ve got decades of experience in pubs, stadiums, and event caterin’, but this shop, well, this is our pride and joy.

We opened T’s Traditional Pie & Mash to give Ipswich a taste of the East End, just like the old days, and we weren’t gonna settle for anything less than the best. That’s why we chose the legendary Arments, one of London’s oldest and most trusted pie makers. They’ve been doin’ it for over 100 years, and their pies are the real deal, flaky pastry, rich fillings, and packed with flavour.

Every plate we serve is the full works: an Arments pie, mash, and a ladle o’ proper parsley liquor. And if you like a bit of punch, don’t forget the Arments chilli vinegar – it’s a game-changer.

For us, this place is more than just a pie shop, it’s about community, tradition, and sharin’ somethin’ we love with the people around us. Whether you’re a Londoner missin’ home or a local wantin’ to try somethin’ different, you’re always welcome at T’s.
