COVID-19 Update November 2020
From Thursday November 5th, our shop will be open for takeaway orders but not for eat-in.
Covid-19 Measures are in place for your safety and that of our staff
We are pleased to advise you that we have complied with HM Government ‘Working Safely during Covid-19 Document – May 11th 2020 and updated on July 23rd 2020) which allows us to re-open both our takeaway and our eat-in sections. We politely ask when visiting our shop that you please adhere to the new Covid-19 staying secure measures as signposted to help us keep you and our staff safe during this time. These include hand sanitising upon entry to our shop, masks where appropriate and social distancing measures. If you are eating in it is a Government requirement that we take your name and contact details as part of the NHS Test & Trace scheme. All details are only used for this purpose and will be destroyed after 21 days.
Takeaway and Eat-in Services Resumed 5 days a week Tuesdays to Saturdays
We are pleased to say that in addition to our hot takeaway service from our shop and we now offer limited seating for eating within our restaurant area and outside. We are currently open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10.30am each day and temporarily closing at 3pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays. We are also taking card or cash payments.
Online Orders
Our website is taking online orders and we are sending out our pie, mash and liquor all over mainland UK. It is all made fresh and blast chilled so why not order a little more and pop them into your freezer for those just got to have moments! all our deliveries come with full storage and re-heating instructions or you can find them here.
Licensed Sellers
Those of our Licensed Sellers who are currently trading are fully stocked. These are Gray & Sons Butchers, Tom Bells, Ocean Fresh, The Kings Head Public House, the Red Lion Public House and The Summerfield Tavern – their details can be found here. Please contact them direct for their individual opening times.
Large cold orders (20 pies and over) may be secured for collection on Fridays and Saturdays by emailing us at mail@armentspieandmash.com at least 48 hours in advance. We’re sorry we cannot take advance orders for smaller orders due to the limited fridge space and collection slots. Please mark the subject ‘Order for Collection’, let us know your order and your preferred day to collect, along with a contact telephone number. One of our team will be in touch to confirm the acceptance of your order, confirm a collection time and take payment.
