Trafalgar Square St George’s Day Celebrations

Celebrate the Feast of St George by heading to Trafalgar Square for free fun, delicious food and live music. The festivities will take place on the Saturday before the Saint’s day, on the 22nd April.

The Military Wives Choirs will be performing, plus you’ll be able to catch cooking demos by chef Theo Randall and Hackney Masterchef champion Natalie Coleman. Check out delicious English dishes at the food stalls and enjoy free tastings. Kids are in line to be thoroughly entertained too, in a ‘Magical Kingdom’ where wizardry rules and where a ‘magical’ owl resides.

The British Legion’s St George’s Day Concert

The British Legion are holding a St George’s Day Concert on Wednesday 26 April at St George’s Church, Hanover Square, London. The choir of St George and the Legion’s own band will be performing, plus there will be readings by celebrity guests including Dame Barbara Windsor and Robert Powell. Enjoy the concert and the surroundings – this beautiful central London church was Handel’s when he was in London. Tickets aren’t cheap at £40 – but for that you get to enjoy nibbles and wine before the concert – and it’s all in a good cause.
